WebsiteTricia van Oostveen is a Canadian artist whose path to the arts began after a career in financial planning. She later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University and has since exhibited in galleries and festivals across Toronto, Hamilton, Durham, and the Kawartha region.
Her work includes impressionistic landscapes, non-objective abstract pieces, and resin-based creations that explore themes of nature, climate change, and human emotion. A personal cancer journey also influenced her practice, leading toward playful, light-filled compositions that celebrate colour and form.
Active in the arts community, Tricia has managed an artist-run gallery and participated in many art festivals including Supercrawl. She continues to create work inspired by nature, sustainability, and ongoing artistic experimentation.
