@heartfeltinspirationsAfter retiring several years ago, Ann Way-Nee discovered her passion for felting. With introductory training and inspiration drawn from the landscapes of the Kawarthas and beyond, she began exploring the art of wet felting.
Using fine merino wool, silks, and soapy water, Ann creates paintings with wool that capture the essence of nature. Rich textures help create depth and atmosphere within each unique piece, and she often incorporates natural branches and bark into the mounting and framing her work.
Alongside her wall pieces, Ann also creates a variety of felted home décor items. She enjoys sharing her passion for felting with others through small-groups, and hands-on workshops.
