WebsiteAfter two years at the University of Guelph Lynda moved to a small farm which she quickly filled with children and a menagerie of animals. Her barn was a never ending source of inspiration. Early morning feedings, sunlight filtered across a ewes back and the delight of witnessing new life became constant themes in her art. While painting in oils is her primary focus, this self taught artist also enjoys pastels and clay work.
Lynda has strong ties to her hometown and enjoys contributing in any way she can to support her community. A long-standing member of the Sunderland Agricultural Society, she donates paintings to various groups and volunteers her artistic skills, designing and painting backdrops for the Sunderland Lions Youth Theatre Group. For more than 20 years she has participated in the Uxbridge Studio Tour, Buckhorn Art Festival and recently the McMichael Gallery volunteer art show. Her work is enjoyed in private collections worldwide.
In 2024, after 33 years on her beloved farm Lynda relocated to an enchanting property on the Indian River near Warsaw Ontario. She is sharing this new venture with her dogs, a cat, Gracie a Clydesdale mare and a Welsh pony named Timmie.
