- Artist demonstrations
Valerie has been working as a jewellery designer and maker for over 40 years. She graduated from Sheridan College, School of Crafts and Design, in 1984. She has been a part of several cooperative studios, and has maintained her own home studio near Keene Ontario. Valerie has enjoyed teaching her craft at the Haliburton School of Art and Design and the Art School of Peterborough and has conducted many workshops for recreational students.
Working with sterling silver, gold, bronze, brass, and copper, Valerie’s jewellery shows her love of texture, contrast, and clean lines. Her inspiration comes from all around: shapes, patterns, interesting connections, and the many celebrations and tribulations in life.
