Anne Cavanagh studied visual art in the United States, France, and England. At the post secondary level, she combined her love of art and science, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medical Illustration. Cavanagh has participated in many exhibits across North America, including the 2023 – 2024 seams and strata exhibition at the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
She has received many awards and grants for her work including a scholarship to attend a Drawing Master Class at the New York Academy of Art (2017), and the Ontario Arts Council Artist in Education Grant (2007). Cavanagh was the Director of the Ontario Society of Artists Eastern Hub from 2018 to 2021. Recently, she co-curated “Ambient Landscapes” at the Art Gallery of Northumberland and juried the OSA Annual Juried Exhibit at the John B. Aird Gallery, Toronto.
