ABOUT
Since 1984, the Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour has offered visitors the opportunity to explore the working studios of artists, making it one of the longest running Studio Tours in Canada. Artists working in a range of styles and media, open up their working spaces to the public and share their artistic practice, connect with potential supporters and the community, while also promoting their work. Visitors can watch artist demonstrations, learn about different artistic practices and techniques, and get a behind-the-scenes look into the working studios of the artists of the Peterborough-Kawarthas region.
This year’s tour takes place on September 28 & 29, 2024 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The two-day Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour is self-guided, self-driven, and admission is free.

Pick up your KAST Passport this September to track your studio visits! 10 passport stops enters you into a draw to win a prize valued at over $100 from the AGP Gallery Shop.
Passports can be picked up at the Art Gallery of Peterborough and participating artist studios during the Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour (September 28 & 29, 2024).
Return your completed passports to the AGP by October 6, 2024 to be entered to win.
Draw will take place Monday, October 7, 2024.
KAST selections exhibition
Visit the Art Gallery of Peterborough this summer and check out the KAST Selections Exhibition that features work from each of this year’s participating artists. This exhibit seeks to capture the outstanding quality, spirit, and variety available on this year’s tour.

The Art Gallery of Peterborough is a public gallery that exhibits and programs, keeping pace with the art scene in Peterborough & beyond! Presenting contemporary visual art by artists from the region & across the nation, we offer new exhibitions, events and programs year-round.
